Moment Chicago is now Grand Studio
New name, same great Chicago-based digital strategy and product design consultancy.
Two years ago, a team of Moment designers came to Chicago to establish a new office. We were dedicated to growing Moment’s offering in a new city with new challenges and new clients. In these past two years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with some fantastic clients, had the opportunity to explore the boundaries of new technology, and craft an environment for our design team that embodies all of the special qualities about working at Moment. I am personally very proud of all that we’ve accomplished together.
With Moment’s New York office joining the Verizon family, our team here in Chicago will continue the journey we started two years ago. It’s one that will continue to build on what we’ve learned at Moment, but now with a new name. Today, I am excited to announce our new company: Grand Studio.
Grand Studio is a reflection of both where we’ve been and where we’re going. To our surprise when we moved here, the offices of both Moment New York and Moment Chicago reside next to a Grand Street. Many of us spent our formative design years at Moment in New York and remember our first seats in the “grand studio” section of the office. So with that, our name is a fitting tribute to our love and admiration for Moment and a window into the next great chapter for our team.
I couldn’t be more optimistic about what the future holds. Josh Lucas-Falk and I will head up Grand Studio with Josh becoming our CEO. I have the utmost confidence and trust in him to continue positioning us as the consultancy leading the forefront of design and innovation. I’d also like to call out our fantastic (and growing!) team of designers who will continue to solve big, complex design challenges with our clients. Without this core team, Grand Studio wouldn’t be possible.
There is so much to get excited about right now. Our industry is experiencing a golden age of user-centered design, new technology is advancing at a rapid pace, and companies are increasingly asking us to help them solve the often complex, strategic problems that will help take their businesses to new heights. It is our mission to continue to solve the hard problems, collaborate hand-in-hand with our clients, and translate new learnings into thoughtful products and services for users and customers.
To fellow colleagues and friends of Moment, thank you for all that you have done to make Moment Chicago a special experience. For us in Chicago, we’re turning the page to a new chapter and we invite you to come along for the ride. We’re thrilled to explore these new possibilities together.
