Launching Grasshopper Grants for the Empire Fintech Conference

The Empire FinTech Conference will be postponed until October 14, 2020 due to the ongoing concerns around the coronavirus. We support Empire Startups’ focus on prioritizing the health and safety of the startup ecosystem. Our applications will remain open until September 19th.

Grasshopper Bank and Empire Startups are committed to leveling the playing field so that having the money for conference admission is not a barrier to attend and get the benefit of knowledge, network, and community.
We are excited to announce that Grasshopper Grant applications are now open for founders to attend the annual “Empire Fintech Conference” in New York City on October 14th.
The conference is not only unrivaled in their commitment to diversity in Fintech, but it was born and built right here in New York City. Sharing a similar origin story of being the first tech bank born and raised in New York City, we are excited to not just attend, but also support Empire Fintech by providing ten founders with access to this incredible conference through our Grasshopper Grants program.
The Empire Startups Conference includes 600 attendees, with a packed day of demos, keynotes and panel discussions (including our own CEO Judith Erwin), and networking, all highlighting and showcasing the best of New York fin-tech. The tremendous agenda can be found here.

The deadline to apply is March 12, 2020.
And of course, applying and/or receiving a Grasshopper Grant is not only limited only to our clients.
Grasshopper Grants covers 100% of the admission price for a certain number of founders, who for whatever reason are not able to cover the cost of admission to attend critical events nationwide throughout the year, and we are excited about supporting one of the only fintech conferences with gender parity on the stage.
