Love Bites
Luke haloed Sawyer like a dark angel in his black trunks and Sydney realized it was going to be a long night.
Sydney rubbed the love bite left from Sawyer, that her mother pointed out. She used to get instant bug bites so she was able to play it off a bit. But the bite was from Sawyer. Luke had looked at her neck oddly and now she knew why.
Her entire body still thrummed with pleasure from their earlier lovemaking. He had wanted her to go with him back to his summer house, he always wanted her to stay. This particular night, she wanted to be with him.
She loved him, and he said he had always loved her.
But she was here with Luke and even though she knew he had been with Clair — it was part of her attraction to him to have him and know that Clair had been trying to break them up.
Sydney did not know that Luke had dated Clair at first, but then she realized he had. That she was the one that he replaced her sister with like Sawyer had replaced her with Clair. But Luke was with her and that was the way it was going to be.
Something she had taken from Clair.
When Clair died, Luke lost some of his charms for her. Seeing Sawyer did not help at all…
