Last month, we published a call for applications to our Spring 2019 Campus Partners Program. With nearly 150 student applicants across the United States and Israel, we are proud to introduce our Campus Partners for the Spring Cohort 2019.

Since our first cohort last year, we’ve learned a lot about creating a program that provides our Campus Partners with an unforgettable experience while driving real value to our firm. It’s a balance that takes a lot of work and iteration and we’re excited to announce that one of our former all-star Campus Partners, Sophie Ishak of Columbia University, will join us as Head of Campus Partners this semester.

Sophie Ishak, Head of Campus Partners

As Sophie puts it, “In university, VC opportunities are not easy to come by, let alone ones that train you in investing and connect you to like minded peers across the globe. The past year as a Campus Partner has truly exceeded my expectations; Ground Up Ventures’ Campus Partners program has taught me the fundamentals of venture capital and enabled me to meet with and learn from passionate entrepreneurs across campuses and cities.

I can’t wait to return to Ground Up this semester as Head of Campus Partners and collaborate with the next generation of budding VCs! Cory, David and Jordan have been wonderful mentors and colleagues and it is my privilege to work with and learn from them in this new and exciting role. I’m very grateful, and can’t wait to get started!”

The Ground Up team couldn’t ask for a better person to help us lead this important initiative and are looking forward to an awesome semester of Campus Partners!

Stay tuned for exciting updates, new blog posts, and more from our Campus Partners on our Medium, Twitter, and Facebook pages!
