Hi Grown Folk,

It’s official, GFC published our first stories in August and September (see the list below). I’m happy that we’re getting so many inquiries so I’m answering some frequently asked questions:

How can you submit an article?

Fill out this form and you’ll be added as a writer.

How often do you publish?

Monthly and our next publication date is October 15, 2022.

While we’ll accept pieces on a rolling basis — they must be submitted by the 5th of every month to be published in that month’s issue.

What are you looking for?

We’re looking for seasoned writers with stories and essays that are:

• Unpublished work — 500–1200 words
• Compelling, well-written and researched, properly cited, nuanced, and original, that meets Medium’s format, submission, and curation (distribution) guidelines
• Present a problem- offer solutions and a call to action.
• Focus on all aspects and intersections of life, love, and everything in between for people 35+
