Replacement Components Cause Brief Pause in Assembly
HoloPort and HoloPort+
- After assembling the first 500 HoloPorts, our assembly team noticed a quality issue with the copper paint used on the inside of the Holo-green backplate. We determined this was unacceptable, and to maintain standards the assembly was briefly paused.
- We’re happy to say that the manufacturer has already resolved the issue and assembly is scheduled to resume next week when we receive the new backplates.
- As you may have seen, Holo team members have received some initial units off the assembly line. You can check out one of these internal test units being unboxed!
