Call for Application to the Hamoye Data Science Internship Program 2021
Hamoye AI Labs (a division of Hamoye Technologies, a Delaware corporation) is seeking to recruit 5 to 20 candidates for entry-level positions in data science, data engineering, and MLOps. Finalists will be invited to join Hamoye AI Labs. The internship program is designed as a competitive multi-stage process.
Hamoye Data Science Internship is geared towards enabling the career advancement of young college graduates and professionals to the height of fulfillment. Hamoye has carefully planned out a 4-month, 6- sprint, competitive multi-stage internship program. All participants will have opportunities to earn various certificates in data science specializations and contribute to open-source projects. The best candidates at each stage of the competition will also win awards.

Who can apply?
The internship is open to everyone, irrespective of their programming experience. The program is designed not only to spur the journey of participants towards becoming beginner, intermediate or advanced Data Practitioners but also to advance and strengthen the existing talents in the field of data science.
When is the commencement date?
August cohort will begin on the 4th of August 2021
How long will the internship last?
The internship will last for 4 months.
What is the nature of the internship?
It is a competitive multi-stage remote internship program that is open to all.
Any financial commitment as an intern?
No. None required, except for internet connectivity i.e the internship is completely FREE.
How many tracks exist in the internship?
Three tracks=Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Storytelling.
How many hours am I expected to devote to the internship?
The number of hours to be devoted to the internship is subjective and based on your current level of expertise. As a beginner, it is expected that you devote at least 10–15 hours per week due to the rigorous nature of the program.
Can I choose more than one track?
Interns are only allowed to choose one track.
What type of projects will I be working on?
At Hamoye, we believe that practice is the bedrock of learning. Therefore interns will be working on real-life projects with the assistance of industry experts. Click this link to view some of our projects
Will I be paid during the internship?
No, interns will not be paid during the internship; however, there will be rewards for interns that perform excellently at each stage.

- Every participant who successfully completes a sprint and the associated challenge will earn a certificate from Hamoye for each sprint completed.
