Scott Alexander just took down Slate Star Codex to try and avoid having the New York Times dox him. There is a lot of media traffic on this right now. You can google that — we’re not going to talk about that here, except to stick a youtube video down at the bottom. It’s an interesting move, and since he is fully aware of the Streisand Effect, I’m curious to discover his strategy in doing so, if he has one.

But this has put a major crimp in my lifestyle, because I use these articles to explain things to people, and it’s a pain in the ass to fish them up on the internet archives. So I pulled some links and ran them through the Wayback Machine so I could have an index of my favorites (some of which have been linked in prior articles here on HWFO) and I figured I’d share them. Basically, this is a personal list of hotlinks that I’m sharing with you folks, augmented by the input from some friends.
