The scarcity of real blockchain talent has made it a hot commodity in a world that is becoming more and more decentralized. At HARA, we recognize that the responsibility to foster new talent falls on the shoulders of the budding blockchain sector itself, especially in developing countries.

To avoid unnecessary bottlenecks in the development of the sector, efforts need to be made to ensure a steady growth of the talent pool.

Educating the next generations of blockchain programmers and developers is something that we at HARA take very seriously. For example, by instigating collaborations with universities we take a leading role in nurturing talent that is home-grown in Indonesia, as well as from abroad.

We have been selected to host our third batch of students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). HARA was hand-picked to participate in the MIT Sloan’s Global Entrepreneurship Lab, and a team of their top students will soon join us as part of the illustrious program.

Currently, we are also conducting a study with the Muhammadiyah University of Gresik on the developments of blockchain in the agriculture sector.

We also make the effort to share our knowledge at a lot of events around the country, to make people curious about blockchain and show them what the technology is capable of.

For example, just this past month, our CTO, Imron Zuhri, led a seminar at the prestigious University of Indonesia (UI) and our Head of Business Development, Larissa Sidarto, hosted several information sessions at the Parahyangan Catholic University.

However, our main efforts are made at our offices themselves. We encourage students with an interest in anything from data analytics to blockchain technology to apply for an internship to get some hands-on experience.

To do an internship at HARA, you do have to be motivated: we don’t hold back and you’ll be in the thick of it straight from the get go.

Read testimonials from two of our former interns through these links.

Finally, we created a space where people can come together specifically to talk tech by being one of the main drivers behind the launch of the Indonesia Blockchain Hub.

Our parent company Dattabot has a longstanding history in creating events to educate the market in the form of hackathons, conferences, etc. Now HARA is following in its footsteps to do the same for blockchain.

If you are interested in blockchain and want to learn more, make sure to follow us on social media to keep up to date with our latest events. And if you’re looking for an internship where you’ll actually learn a thing or two, don’t hesitate to shoot us an email.
