New RiteKit adjunct project seeks full-stack dev lead for equity position

You would not be working on the RiteKit site or apps, but on our adjunct project, The Tavern Discord Community’s businesses.

We are first building a directory of communities: Discord, Slack, Reddit, and more. We have other community-driven businesses in the works as well.

There are communities that need our analytics and event-promotion features

You would lead fullstack development, and also do the project management, instructing the interns in our small team. We begin with a concept, take our wireframes and build a responsive site, the directory.

The founder and CEO of RiteKit (in business 14 years; cash-flow positive) has spent the last 5 years working seven days/week building a community of 17,000+ adults who hang in videocalls. This project inspires them. And our planned businesses all synergize with communities. We already have our testing ground ready: the discord community.

WHAT YOU WOULD DO:

• Work with the founder (me, Saul) on the development and project mgmt stack, build the directory site, and co-lead a small, fast-moving team. To start, it would be you and I.

• The directory will help people find online communities, ranked by activity level, member-count, etc., categories and tags. As for competitive advantages — we will talk on this when we speak.

FIRM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience as project lead or CTO for sites that you can show us (working links)

• Must be a self-starter and not overburdened with other projects.
