Step 5: Token Sale Registration

We have created a series of process walkthroughs providing instructions on how to participate in the HelloGold Foundation Token Sale. This post covers Step 5 in the process, ie:

Completing HelloGold Token Sale registration

Let’s get started! Sign up for a new account to support the Token Sale!

Step 1:

Go to the sign up page at https://kyc.hellogold.org/users/sign_up (or click on “Register” from hellogold.org)

Step 2:

Fill in all the details, check the reCAPTCHA verification and press “Sign Up”.

Note: Secure word is a security measure to prevent attempts by other parties to duplicate our websites and deceive users. For more information, please read the pop up information beside the secure word column.

Step 3:

Check your mail box (including junk mail) for a confirmation link that has been sent to you. Follow the link in the email to verify your email address and sign in to your account.

Step 4:

Sign into your account using the details that you have entered.

Note: You cannot log in to your account without verifying your email, therefore first log in have to be done using the link in the email.

After your first log in, you can log in using this link: https://kyc.hellogold.org/users/sign_in

Step 5:

Read and Agree to the Terms and Conditions. Tick all the three columns if you fulfil all three of them and press “Submit”. If you do not fulfil either one of them, please do not support the token sale.

You can choose to agree to terms and conditions later, but you will still have to do so before you submit your Registration details.

Note: Please check the secure word at the bottom left corner of the webpage (applicable to all pages) after you log in to see if the secure word is the same as the one that you have keyed in during signing up. If the secure word is different, please close the browser and contact us.

Step 6:

Follow the link at the disclaimer bar to continue submitting your registration details. Alternatively, press “Register” on the top bar. Similarly, check the secure word at the bottom left corner.

Step 7:

Agree to the terms and conditions if you haven’t done so earlier. Then fill in the registration details and upload the photos as requested.

Note: You have to hold your passport/national ID (depending on what documents you submit) in your selfie picture. If you are not clear about the requirement, please look at the example.

Step 8:

After submitting, you can see that your wallet address and account status updated. Before your account is approved by HGF, you will not be able to see the token sale address.

Now sit back while we review your application. You will be updated by email!

Step 9:

Shortly thereafter, you will receive emails about your registration updates.

If your application is approved, you will get the following email (Picture 1). When you log in, you will see the account status and the token sale address updated (Picture 2).

Note: The token sale address will only be updated approximately 24 hours prior to the start of the token sale.

Your registration is complete! The only thing left is to send ETH to the Token Sale address once the Token Sale is launched. How to do that is covered in the final article — Step 6: Sending ETH to Token Sale address.
