There’s nothing like having a freshly polished and manicured set of nails. The increasing popularity of nail designs has created a variety of polishes to choose from. Dr. Brown founded Crown Nail Lacquer in 2018 with the desire to make women feel beautiful. Growing up in Maryland, her mother was a hair stylist. A staple of Dr. Brown’s childhood was witnessing her mother’s clients come for their biweekly self care. In fact, a way Dr. Brown relieves stress and finds relaxation is through self care and pampering, particularly by doing her nails. One day, she had a patient who suffered from a nail injury at a salon and was unable to use polish for six weeks due to the chemicals found in most polishes and nail treatments. That’s when a light bulb went off and Crown Nail Lacquer was born! Using her hobby and pharmaceutical background, Dr. Brown created a business with the goal of offering products that aren’t harmful and make all women feel beautiful.
