Hidden Treasures
some of the most underestimated jewels of pop music
Note from the editor

- some of the most underestimated jewels of pop music. This a site which deals with forgotten songs of the last 50 years. Indeed there are so many fine pieces of music that have never been successful, although they got a magic touch. You may find these songs — almost forgotten- and very difficult to get on some old LPs or MCs and so on. Unfortunately, they never became hits. The reason for that is they were not published as singles and didn’t get any airplay. All these “hidden treasures” have got a huge potential of becoming hits. Even today, though times have changed and the taste of music, too. The best example for one of those songs which succeeded at last is “Behind Blue Eyes” by a group called “The Who”. Once this was a further track on their LP named “Who’s Next”, which was issued in 1970. There it slept for 30 Years. Then the combo “Limp Bizkit” took this one, the rest remains history. So I will name some songs that deserve more recognition as they got in the past. Watch out! Dr. Michael Dörr
