Tip #39: How to Find People You’ve Emailed in the Last Month
How can I find a list of all people me or my team has emailed in the last month?
This is a common question that comes to our support team. Highrise works best when sharing information across your team. It’s a place to collaborate on the people that matter to you or your business.
While you might remember if you exchanged emails with a contact, your team might not be aware of that interaction. This is where a handy workaround using filters and tags in Highrise can help keep everyone on the same page.
First, you can see the last time your emailed a contact by viewing the icon next to the contact’s name in your list.
This is helpful, however, there isn’t support to filter by that specific piece information right now.
You do have existing filters available to see people contacts without a note or email in a certain time frame. This is the opposite of what we’re after here, but if we combine these filters with tags, we have a workaround that does the trick.
Here are the steps to follow:
- Change your view to
people without emails
sinceone month ago
- Select all the contacts, and add a
no-emails-last-month
tag to them - Reset your filters and refresh the page
- Change your view to
only people
contacts - Filter by the
no-emails-last-month
tag and exclude it - Find all people contacts without an email in the last month
This gives you the list of all the people you or your team has emailed in the last month. Maybe you want to create a follow-up task for these contacts or send them a Broadcast message all at once or just see what you and your team have been up to over the past month?
Whatever the need, this workaround can help you locate all people you or your team has emailed recently. These same steps can be used with different time frames (two days, one week ago, two weeks, one month, three months, six months, one year, ever) and to find people contacts without any notes too.
We’re considering ways to make this easier with built-in filters that eliminate this workaround in the future, so make sure to stay tuned for updates.
If you need help using this workaround or anything else, send our support team a message and we’ll get back to you as fast as we can.
