A letter from our CEO, unique insight, and company updates

All,

It’s been one month since our last newsletter when we shared that we’d be shifting to a monthly schedule, so I’m happy to be back to share updates from July. There’s been a lot going on as our nation is still fighting its way through this pandemic.

With that said, I want to take some time here to reflect on where we are. This newsletter was initially created to share information and open dialogue about COVID-19. Five months later, despite some signs of progress, we find ourselves in a similar situation to when we began this newsletter. As we see cases in my home state of California increasing, according to The Covid Tracking Project, the month of July has also seen a rise in new cases and hospitalizations across the country, making clear that we must remain determined in our efforts to combat the disease. Sheltering in place, social distancing and masks are still critically important.

Since rolling out access to Rutgers’ at-home COVID-19 saliva test kits through our platform in May, we have shipped hundreds and are continuing to see that number grow. And on the shipping front, we’re proud to share that our pharmacy and fulfillment center in Ohio is officially up and running, distributing non-prescription items to our customers. Soon we’re going to be shipping all our platform’s offerings from this location — and we’re growing the team to do so.

There’s a lot of news in July from around the world and about our company shared below. If you have any questions, I’m always open to chat.

Take care,

Andrew

COMPANY NEWS

Hims & Hers recently expanded its mental healthcare offering, enabling access to individual consultations with a licensed psychiatry provider for treatment of anxiety and depression. Initially, access to telepsychiatry consultations will be available to patients in New York and California, and we plan to make this service available across the U.S. later this year. We also hired Julian Cohen, who will be our Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health. Read more about our psychiatry offering here.

We launched free anonymous group support sessions in April, covering everything from coping with COVID-19 to anxiety management and relationship advice. Now, in addition to being able to participate live, people can access recordings of the health professionals’ sessions on demand. You can watch/view the content library here.

To help raise awareness for the acute need to expand access to birth control, Hims & Hers has partnered with Power to Decide and donated $10,000 to its BCBenefits program. We will also be matching up to $5,000 more from donations made here by August 31.

Following closely on the heels of our partnership with Ochsner Health System, in July we announced we are partnering with Mount Sinai Health System to bring access to a wider range of treatments to patients in the greater New York City area. This Mount Sinai partnership allows us to help patients in the greater New York City region connect to providers who can help them manage their healthcare needs.

We expanded our celebrity partnership with Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, and they shared with People why Hims & Hers is so important to them.

An at-home COVID-19 saliva test, authorized by the FDA under an Emergency Use Authorization, is available through the Hims & Hers platforms:
