I know, I have missed the past few weeks. Rather than miss another week, I wanted to throw out a quick article for this week and hopefully can get back into the swing next week. If anyone is interested in writing an article, let me know!

In previous weeks, I have highlighted the high scores of the week, this week, let’s highlight the teams that are putting up the most points throughout the season (and the teams with some of the best records). So let’s get to it.

TOTAL POINTS FOR THROUGH 6 WEEKS

(rank. total points — team name — manager, record (conference))

  1. 1008.6 — Castle Black — Chris Black, 6–0 (C)
  2. 1002.6 — THE Reigning Champ — Dave Falcone, 5–1 (B)
  3. 946.9 — The White Welkers — Joey Simone, 4–2 (B)
  4. 935.1 — A A Rod — Kevin Gutelius, 5–1(F)
  5. 905 — Troys Terrific Team — Troy Molins, 5–1 (A)
  6. 900.8 — Dharma Initiative — Craig Campagno, 4–2 (C)
  7. 896.8 — Blue Barracudas — Justin Wrentzel, 4–2 (A)
  8. 894 — Cavs Cavalry — Lou Cavaliere, 5–1 (D)
  9. 846.3 — Kelce’s Tailor — Rob Graham, 4–2 (D)
That’s one good tailor
  1. 845.1 — Put Ur Trust in Case — Jarod Claybourn, 3–3 (A)

Honorable Mentions— Only one team with a perfect record and not a top 10 score:
Cribbs A1 — Ryan Cribben, 6–0 (A) — Total points for: 816.6

Sorry not sorry, Cribbs

Things we have learned through 6 weeks:

  1. Conference E is either the most balanced conference, or the managers in that league aren’t very good. I think its the balance (nay John Salvo who has started either an injured player or empty slot or both half the weeks. Come on man, you are better than that! Fortunately, you are a way better surgeon than fantasy manager).
  2. Six teams are averaging over 150 points per week, which is a pretty insane amount of points weekly. The top team led by Chris Black is averaging 168.1 points per week. These teams will either need some injuries or a down week to be taken down.
  3. It’s all about your matchup week to week. For instance, the top ten teams here should all be undefeated (or close to), but some ran into the wrong teams the wrong weeks. Including yours truly with a devastating last play of the week loss thanks to Mason Crosby’s field goal winning kick as time expired. Our tenth best team is sporting a 3–3 record and four other top ten teams were one more loss away from joining him.
