A detailed list of all the documents that you need to have with you to find work in Dubai. You need to prepare these documents from your home town and before you travel to Dubai.

While looking for work in Dubai you will be asked for several documents that prove your Identity, Education and previous experience. Dubai requires all these papers to be approved from there embassies in your home country and without this approval, any document will not be accepted as an official one.

While you can approve these documents while in Dubai, But doing so will consume more time and money which you can’t afford while living in a different country and not employed yet.

1- Identity papers:

For sure you need your Passport with you that is an essential part of traveling to Dubai. Make several copies of your passport main page before your travel because copying those papers in Dubai will cost you more than doing it in your hometown.

2- Personal picture wit white background:

To issue your Dubai ID and driving license and Company card you will need pictures with a white background, again doing this in Dubai will burn through the money that you have for living there so it’s better to have 12 pictures on you. It will be helpful if you are applying for Freelancer Visa in Dubai

3- Graduation certificate:

If you are graduated, get your graduate certificate in English and visit the Emirates Embassy in your country to get an approval stamp on it. The process of approval might differ from one country to another. Send me your country name and I can help you with the process.

4- International Driving license:

Driver license in Dubai is one of the hardest and most documents to issue. While you are in Dubai on a visit visa you can rent a car and drive it using your international license. Renting and driving a car might be cheaper in some cases while you are dropping CVs in Dubai or going for far areas that public transportation doesn’t reach. Having your international driving license with you in Dubai will come handy someday. This will help with your transportation in Dubai.

5- Letters of Experience:

Collect letters of experience from all your previous works and get them all approved from the emirates embassy in your country. This will come handy while signing your contract with any company when you find work in Dubai.

4- Copies:

Have copies from all of these documents. Don’t print your CV while you are in your home town. When you reach Dubai and buy a local mobile line add the number of this line to your CV and then start printing it.
