What’s humanID: humanID is a nonprofit building a replacement to social media logins like “Login with Facebook”. Unlike existing logins, humanID allows users to sign onto third-party websites or apps with full anonymity.

A lot has happened since our last update.
The biggest strategic shift that the team has taken is to focus our MVP testing on COVID relief apps. Specifically, we struck a partnership with our sister organization Bluenumber foundation on a COVID-tracking application: Green Zone.
Rather than tracking users’ whereabouts and alerting them when new cases are found, Green Zone will rely on self-reporting data, based on which the app will show areas that are considered “green”, aka safe to visit.
humanID will be the exclusive identity layer for Green Zone. The partnership will allow us to onboard thousands of customers instantly.
A true milestone.

- Our first integration with a film review app will be submitted to the app store next week.
