NYCx is a program in the Mayor’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer that seeks to advance a more inclusive technology ecosystem where minority and women tech startups have fair access to opportunities and resources that support and promote startup growth. This past week we partnered with NYCx during a portion of their Northside Festival.

The Northside Festival, which is an annual event, featured panel discussions focused on inclusive entrepreneurship and opportunities to network. We, along with leaders from New York City tech accelerators (Galvanize, Grand Central Tech, EY, Stackpath, R/GA Ventures) met 1-on-1 with up to 20 early stage startups with high-growth potential.

We had the pleasure to not only participate in the NYCx Accelerator Office Hours, but also host the official reception that followed the panels in Brooklyn. To say the least, it was a successful gathering of humble folks making meaningful connections and lasting friendships.

This could not have been possible without the hard work of partners like Jeremy Goldberg, Deputy CTO NYCx, Bianca Caban, Director of Partnerships & Business Development at Republic, and Gary Johnson, Director of Strategy & Operations, NYCx. Looking forward to continue advancing inclusion in tech with NYCx!
