HRC30 for LBS Smart Contracts

HRC30 is a standard to set rules for minting new token within LBS (Location-blockchain service) based on Hyperion blockchain. All Atlas-based tokens must follow HRC30 on how to be transferred, how transactions are approved, and how users can access data about a token, including the total supply of token, etc.

Just as what Ethereum 2.0 offers, HRC30 is:

  • A key piece of standard for the world’s transfer of location-based value
  • A new standard for Atlas-based smart contract
  • A hub for global open-source collaboration

Hyperion ecosystem is a massive open-source platform that welcomes every developer to build up LBS based on it. Our infrastructure entails rich open-source location data that attracts a massive global community desired by decentralized service providers.

HRC30 aims to efficiently support every Hyperion-based project by user-growth model via a new token supply logic. RP will be the 1st token to experiment with the HRC30 standard.

Once the primitive use case of HRC30 standard is proven valid, other projects can easily develop new LBS dApps and mint new token by simply sticking to the rules.

RP aims to show developers how HRC30 standard empowers user acquisition and expansion, how it can accurately predict the increase of token value overtime, while securing a small portion of the rewarding pool for the developers.

The HRC30 standard is designed as user-friendly, be it early birds or late comers, all users can freely explore additional token rewards via RP sharing and level upgrades.

Everything You Need to Know about RP

The idea of red-packet (RP) is borrowed from traditional Chinese culture. The concept is being widely-adopted by online shopping platforms when giving away coupons or reward points during holiday seasons. It aims to reward users at all RP levels with airdrops. Currently the Titan app offers HYN →RP conversion.

How to Get RP Membership

Before getting free RP airdrops, a new entrant needs to stake a minimum amount of HYNs for 90 days to acquire the first batch of RPs. The amount of RP you hold will entitle you to a membership level (A–E). HYN ->RP conversion is a strategic tactic to entice HYN holders to the RP community, while can stabilize HYN token price in return to benefit the value of Hyperion ecosystem. However, RP is not a HYN-pegged token, but rather its value is mainly underpinned by the amount of RP in circulation, aka., size of the RP user pool.

A new RP holder kick starts by holding and burning a min. Amount of RPs to upgrade. Each level-up airdrops additional RP to the user, while concurrently requires a growth in min. holdings and burnings. Imagine when you play candy crush, clearing each level on the map will feed you with extra candy weapons, meanwhile the elimination difficulty increases. If you would rather skip the time-consuming effort to access an easy-upgrade, you can exchange for more elimination tools with tokens. RP is the tool in this case to be exchanged with HYNs.

How to receive & share Airdrops

RP airdrops range in three types:

  • Lucky draw: Random airdrops
  • Constant Giveaway: Simply get what’s been offered in the packet (Not applicable to RP open rules)
  • Promotion gives out: Only bestowed on the referrer of the promoted

The RP airdrops are collected in a unique order (applicable only to lucky draw and promotion gives out). By general perception, coupons are either directly delivered to your personal account, or one needs to actively collect it via the shop page. Rather differently, RP airdrops are passed on by each member’s directly connected friend.

Let’s suppose you are invited by Alan to the RP network, then you invited Bill to the network, and Bill invited Calvin. Then Alan & Bill are both your direct connection. Please carefully read the connection between you and Alan,Bill,Calvin.

Take a lucky draw as an example, Bill is the lucky one today that received a directly-airdropped lucky packet, then Bill opened the packet and received a proportion of RP, then the packet will be passed on to me. After my opening of the packet (suppose I’m eligible to receive a proportion), the packet will continue being passed on to Alan, and recurrently…

When a promotion RP is given out, let’s suppose Calvin upgraded 1 level up, then Bill will get a promotion RP as a reward. The packet is a direct airdrop to Bill as the first open. Then the packet will be passed to me, then to Alan…

Each RP can be opened for numerous times with a certain proportion each during the handover process, according to the number illustrated. The leftover RP will be burnt immediately.

Thus, the RP network forms a well-connected friend-circle. Whoever has a larger friend connection tends to gain more RP rewards.

How to know whether I’m eligible to open an RP?

This is the difficult part, since not every RP you receive will make you gain. When you get a package, it’s important to know whether you can actually open it.

The rule is explained here:

  • Number of openings to each package is limited to twice per level. Each individual can only open for once.
  • If Alan is yet to open the 1st take on X Level, he is eligible to open all the 1st takes on other levels <= than X Level. (Vertical opening)
  • If the 1st take on Level X is opened, Alan can only open the 2nd take (Horizontal opening)
