New Product Owner
This year, we were on the lookout for a new product owner to take our platform to the next level — we needed someone who was experienced in the world of P2P betting, and also had a strong understanding of blockchain technology.
After a thorough search, Diego Scaiano joined us as our new product owner. Diego had a proven track record in the industry, and he was passionate about using technology to solve problems and improve user experiences.
Welcome again, Diego — together, we grew iBetYou to a new level!
Introducing the Public Bets — The MVP Launch
One of the biggest challenges we’ve faced this year was the friction between users and judges. We realized that the way bets were being described was causing confusion and leading to disputes.
To solve this problem, we’ve come up with the idea of public bets. The first launch of the public bets was on Moonriver and users could join the bets with $MOVR.
With public bets, users are able to create bets that many people can join, and the results are determined by judges who are part of the IBY team. This ensured that the bets were clear and easy to understand, and would also provide users with a more fair and transparent betting experience.

The response to the public bets was extremely positive, and the friction between users and the number of disputes was significantly reduced!

Development Updates
Even though the feedback on the public bets was great, there is always room for improvement, especially if you’re in the web3 space. We gathered user feedback through various channels, such as surveys, forums, and social media, and we used it to improve the platform.

Deployment on Four Blockchains
We realized the potential for growth in the world of online betting and decided to take our platform to the next level by integrating with multiple blockchain networks. Users can choose which blockchain they want to use for their bets, as well as the specific token they prefer.
This exciting news was met with great enthusiasm from the iBetYou community. Many users had been wishing formore options for their bets, and the new multichain system allowed them to do just that! 🤩
With the integration of Polygon, Avalanche, and Binance Smart Chain, in addition to Moonriver, — iBetYou now supports a wider variety of tokens, including $MOVR, $MATIC, $AVAX, $BNB, $USDT, and $USDC. This gives users even more flexibility and choice when it comes to their bets.
In addition to the increased options for users, the multichain system also allows iBetYou to scale the platform and handle more transactions without any delays or interruptions, since most delays or interruptions are caused by chain-related issues and having more options allows users to switch to a chain that works better.
