Day 1. I’m excited as hell!

I’m sitting on the edge of my seat. I daydreamed about what would happen when I managed to complete the challenge.

Would I have gained popularity? Followers? A sustainable audience?

Whatever the case, I’m looking forward. The challenges, the ups and downs, the learning opportunities, the pros and cons, all of it.

Before I get started, let me brief you on what the 100-Day Writing Challenge is:

What is the 100-Day Writing Challenge?

As the name suggests, it’s a challenge to write and publish an article consecutively for 100 days.

The goal is to create a writing habit and improve your existing skills or overcome writer’s block.

The goal is defined by you: word count, duration of article, or any other metric.

The writing is not limited to your specific niche or something you have knowledge about. It can be about anything: the challenges you faced, what you did to overcome them, or any other field entirely, as long as it contributes to your writing.

REMEMBER, the goal is to WRITE DAILY.

As I mentioned in my article, the reasons for starting the 100-Day Writing Challenge were:

  • Create a habit of writing consistently
  • Clear my mind of thoughts and topics
  • Make time for writing
  • Prove to my friends that I’m a writer

Although I don’t care about the last point, I just put it there because the list was looking a bit too short.

Some of you may be wondering why I didn’t start the challenge on January 1st, as a New Year’s Resolution. The truth is, I couldn’t wait any longer to get started. I’ve been putting off writing for far too long, and I’m ready to commit to this challenge, regardless of what time of year it is. So, let’s go!

With my 3rd semester coming to an end, and the end-term exams hovering right above my head, it’s an additional challenge.

Facing new challenges and opportunities, and learning something new every day. it’s an interesting time in my life right now.

That’s it for today.

See you guys tomorrow.

Until then, bye-bye!
