A brief from the future. (Part 2)
Though all the facts that are currently shaping the world, the best is yet to come.
Why it’s important to adopt a curious approach to the future
What a time to be alive! Despite what it’s going on in the world, from political to environmental reasons, this decade is a perfect time to foster new ideas and create new kinds of breakthrough technologies. Similar to what happens in the financial investment landscape, hard times are the best to come up out with revolutionary fresh ideas. Accordingly, it’s for this reason it’s always a good business to always be informed about upcoming trends, and read news and books about what the world of tomorrow is going to be like.
From previous episodes
Through the blog’s latter article, we briefly discussed which are the likely trend that is going to reshape both our life and technology paradigms in the not-so-far future. From the data question to a brand new version of reality, passing through making everything smart, it’s out of the question that these tech-oriented trends will have a huge impact on our own lives and are inevitably going to change the world as we know it. Some experts are also referring to this particular historical transition by the 4th Industrial Revolution name, due to the prominent updates it’s going to bring, likewise the first three ones.
However, that’s not all.
And the list goes on
Some of the common features of these future trends cover the use of AI, Data Analysis, and IoT.
With this in mind, let’s rewind to other to-look trends:
- 3D Printing: Fueled by a big array of different materials, like paper, plastic, and wood, 3D printing is currently in hot demand. One of the most important features of the 3D printing process is to streamline the actions required to build something and also customize the treatment. Just to think about its usefulness, there are also houses and cars that have been printed this way.
- Renewable energies: We’re slowly entering the age of two of the most important kind of energy for our environment: Nuclear fusion and green hydrogen. Whereas the first is more or less already known, pinpointing the cost to produce it greater than what it actually produces, the second one is about the electrolysis process, wherein the water is split into two parts, hydrogen and water, avoiding the creation of a mid substance.
- Nanotechnologies: The two fields of Material sciences and Nanotechnologies have made huge steps during the last decade, for instance for Lithium-ion batteries as well as computer chips. By the way, this trend is going to become always useful for man, mostly for the future development of electric car batteries or also for making solar energy more affordable for anybody.
- AI: The big amount of Data, another important future trend, is at the core of any kind of Artificial Intelligence. The most basic use of an AI is to be trained by a massive set of data and, after being properly trained, be able to address some form of input commands. One of the subsets of AI that’s going to be massively adopted is Conversational AI.
- RPA: Robotic Process Automation, is another chunk of AI that’s slowly replacing some jobs. Its main purpose is to automate business processes such as Data handling as well as Email replying, in order to automate and improve the time inside a Company.
What should we focus on now?
These 10 tech trends we reviewed so far are something truly game-changing not just when it comes to creating a Business, but for Mankind generally speaking.
Anyway, another important feature is also given by the fact that all these trends could also merge together to improve something of another process, for example, nanotechnologies and renewable energies.
But, perhaps, the key takeaway they’re going to show us is about the continual change, avoiding the never-ending company internal tech upgrade.
But, for now…
That’s all folks.
