God Almighty has prepared great blessings in the Hereafter for the righteous.

And yes, they are not like the blessings of this life. And these blessings are mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and the noble Prophet’s Sunnah to be an incentive and encouragement for worshipers to turn to obedience and keep away from sins and sin that anger the God Almighty. God Almighty says in the Qudsi hadith: (I have prepared for My Pious slaves, things which have never been seen by an eye, or heard by an ear or imagined by a human being, Then he read: (So let no soul know what has hidden from the eyes of them as a recompense for what they were doing.)

The bliss of Heaven preferred over the pleasure of this life:

The goods of this life are an attested reality, and the bliss of Heaven is a promised unseen, and people are affected by what they see and see, and it is burdensome for their hearts to leave what is between their hands to something that they may obtain in the time to come, so how if the promised will only attain after death?

For this purpose, God Almighty (Allah) compared the pleasures of this life and the bliss of Heaven. He said that the blessing of Paradise is better than this world, greater and prolonged the condemnation of life, and that is only so that the servants strive to seek the afterlife and attain its bliss, and he insults this life and praises the blessings in the Hereafter.

Don’t you understand the preference for what he has over the goodies of this life, and he used the word soon in many places, as GOD Almighty said: But those who fear their Lord: theirs shall be the gardens beneath which rivers flow and in which they will live forever: a hospitality from Allah Himself, And Allah’s reward is best for the truly pious.” [Al-Imran: 198], and also said: “And do not cast an envious look at the worldly property, We have bestowed on different kinds of people, for We have given them all that to put them to trial, and the provision of your Lord is better and more lasting.” [Taha: 131].

He said in a third-place: “Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire — of women and sons heaped-up sums of gold and silver fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land That is the enjoyment of worldly life but Allah has with Him the best return Shall I inform you of [something] better than that For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally and purified spouses and approval from Allah, And Allah seer in his servants.[Al-Imran: 14–15].

If we want, to discuss the secret of the superiority of the Hereafter over the goodies of this world,we will find it in many ways:

First: The goods of this life are few; Allah (The Lord) says: “say the goods of this life are few, and the hereafter is better for the one who is pious.” [An-Nisā:77].

The Messenger — may God bless him and grant him peace — portrayed for us the scarcity of worldly goods concerning the bliss of the Hereafter with an example that he gave and said: ((By God, what is this life compared to the Hereafter except what one of you makes his finger — and he pointed with the forefinger — in the sea, so let him see how it will return)). What does a finger take if you dip into the thick sea, it does not take a drop from it, and it is the ratio of the world compared to the Hereafter. Now since the pleasures of this world are few, and God has blamed those influencing the pleasures of this world for the bliss of the Hereafter, and he said: “O you who believed!, what was amiss with you that, when you were requested (asked) to march forth on the Way of Allah, you clung to the earth? What!, did you prefer the life of this world to the life of the Hereafter? If it is so, you should know that all these goods of this worldly life will prove to be but little in the Hereafter.” [At-Tawbah:38].

Second: It is better in terms of kind, so the clothes, food, drink, jewelry, and palaces of the people of Paradise are better than in this world, and first there is no comparison because the place of a whip in Paradise is better than this life and what is in it. In (Sahih Al-Bukhari) and (Muslim) on the authority of Abu-Huraira, may God be pleased with him He said: The Messenger of God — may God bless him and grant him peace: ((A place in Paradise as small as a bow is better than all that on which the sun rises and sets (i.e..., all the world).” He also said, “A single endeavor in Allah’s Cause in the afternoon or the forenoon is better than all that on which the sun rises and sets.)).

To learn the merits of what is in Heaven over what is in this world, he compared the women of the people of Paradise with the women of this world and said this in (Sahih Al-Bukhari) on the authority of Anas, he said: The Messenger of God — may God bless him and grant him peace: ((And if a woman among the women inhabiting Paradise were to appear to the people of the earth, then she would illuminate what is between them (the heavens and the earth), and a pleasant scent would fill up what is between them, and the scarf on her head is better than the world and what is in it.)).

Third: Heaven is free from the impurities and chagrin of this life, so the food and drink of the people of this life are necessary for feces and urine and unpleasant smells, and if a person drinks the wine of this life, he loses his mind, and the women of this life are incubated and given birth, and the menstrual period is harm, and Paradise is free of all of that, so its people do not urinate or defecate, nor spit .Teflon and the wine of Paradise as described by its Creator: “it is crystal white of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof).”, [As-Sāffāt:46–47]. Paradise water does not turn old, and its milk does not change its taste ((“in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes.”)) [Muhammad:15], The women of the people of Paradise are purified from menstruation and postpartum and all the filth of the women of this world, as God Almighty said: ((“And there will be pure spouses for them and therein they will live forever.”)) [Al-Baqarah:25].

The hearts of the people of Paradise are pure, their words are good, and their deeds are good, so do not hear in Paradise a blasphemous word that disturbs thoughts, irritates the mood, and stimulates nerves, for Paradise is devoid of false statements and deeds, God said: “which will not give rise to empty talk, and neither incite to sin.” [At-Toor:23], and only the sincere, kind, and sound words of the people of this life, are knocked over “No vanity shall they hear therein, nor Untruth.” [An-Naba:35], ((“No empty talk will they hear there-nothing but [tidings of] inner soundness and peace.”)) [Maryam:62], ((“wherein they shall hear no vain talk.”)) [Al-Ghāshiyah:11], It is the abode of purity, purity, and serenity devoid of troubles and troubles, it is the abode of peace and submission ((“There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech, All talk will be sound and upright.”)) [Al-Wāqi‘ah:25–26].
Therefore, if the people of Paradise are saved! from Hell, they are locked up on an arcade between Heaven and Hell, then they refine and purify themselves by revealing some of them from one another. Then they enter Paradise with hearts cleared of them, and what is in their souls of hatred and envy and the like of what was in this world, and the (Sahihin) Attribute of the people of Heaven upon entering Heaven ((There is no difference between them and no hatred, their hearts are one, they praise God for the morning and the evening)). And God was sincere when he says: ((“And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts (rancor ) or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts.”)) [Al-Hijr:47].

It has been reported on the authority of Ibn Abbas and Ali Ibn Abi Talib that when they enter Paradise, they drink from one eye, then God will remove any hatred in their hearts, and they drink from another, so their colors shine, and their faces are pure. Perhaps they benefited from this from the Almighty saying: ((“and their Lord gave them a drink of Wine Pure and Holy.”)) [Al-Insān:21].

Fourth: The bliss of this world is fleeting, and the joy of the Hereafter is permanent, and therefore the Blessed Truth and Exalted be He, has called the blessings of the people of the world a gift because he enjoys it and then passes, as for the bliss of the Hereafter it is enduring, it has no exhaustion, ((“(Did you know) that which is with you shall pass away (being transitory), but that which is with Allâh (Lord) is enduring and will last.”)) [An-Nahl:96], ((“Verily, this is Our provision which knows no end.”)) [Sād:54], ((“its fruits are eternal and its shade is perpetual”)) [Ar-Ra‘d:35], God already struck proverbs for the speed of the demise and the end of the world ((“[18:45] propound to them the parable of the present life: it is like the vegetation of the earth which flourished, luxuriantly when it mingled with the water that We sent down from the sky, but after that, the same vegetation turned into stubble which the winds blew about, Allah alone has the power over all things; [18:46] Wealth and children are an adornment of the life of the world, But the deeds of lasting righteousness are the best in the sight of your Lord in reward, and far better a source of hope.”)) [Al-Kahf:45–46].

God has set an example for the speed of the world’s demise and its end with the water coming down from the sky, which mixes with plants of the earth and turns green, blossoms, and bears fruit…, All of them vanish and disappear, the youth wither and go, health and wellness will transform into age and disease, and money and children may go away, the person may get taken away from his family and money.

But in the Hereafter, there is no departure, no annihilation, and no disappearance, and the Lord said: “and the Home of the Hereafter is even better and excellent indeed is the Home of the righteous.”, [An-Nahl:30–31].

Fifth: Work for the pleasures of this world and forgetting the Hereafter, followed by heartbreak, regret, and entry into the flames, ((“Every soul will taste death, and you will only get your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection, So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire] And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.”)) [Al-Imran:185].
