I recently decided to create and publish a website, www.alinapitt.com (work in progress), and because I was not 100% sure how much I would actually need and use it, I didn’t want to invest too much money into it.
Over the last 7 years, I have only used Wix.com, and even though I was okay with that, I felt the costs became too much over time for what it could do. I had a Premium Wix.com account and also used the newsletter interface and the interface for purchases of services.
As a writer on Medium, I decided to extend my output with a free and weekly newsletter on Substack — ESCAPE THE MATRIX — where I will also publish a podcast (coming on the 11th of April) and a few online products on ConvertKit, such as my Microdosing Guide, so I don’t need a Premium Wix.com package anymore. I have outsourced with Substack, ConvertKit, podcastle.ai, and Canva.
This time I only needed a landing page.
