JIGSAW GENS
Liberty Lords — A Legacy of Impulse & Indignation
The Liberty Lords (“Marble Spears” or “Prime Founders”) refused to settle for subservient status or half-partnership
For people who confuse modern-day generations with one another — and for those who wonder which factors separated the generations of yesteryear — I’ve created “Jigsaw Gens.” This series began when I decided to illustrate the generation gaps that have persisted throughout American culture from the 1880s up through the present day.
Those generations can be divided up, as follows…
Hemingrebels | GI-Gens | Traditionalists | Baby Boomers
GenXers | Millennials | Zoomers | Alphas
Toward the end of 2023, I began exploring age cohorts that can be identified when looking back before the Nineteenth Century. Those eight generations have included:
Missionaries | Stowegressives | Golden Renegades | Redeemers
Transcendentals | Unimpressionists | Madisonians | Goodpublicans
So who came before the Goodpublicans?
They would be the most active Revolutionary-era generation, whom I have christened as the “Liberty Lords.”
