Thanks to the Erasmus + program, I could go to Finland for six months. As part of my trip, I took a trip with my classmates to Tromso from Kajaani, Finland. During this trip, we visited the village of Kilpisjärvi.
It is a small village in the northwest of Finland on the border with Norway. We visited this place at the end of October and there was already a covering of snow. It is a village with a lake of the same name and the main landmark is Saana Mountain.
We tried to climb the mountain mentioned above, however, as you can see from the evening photo, there was a huge wind and the top was hidden in the fog. We reached the hillside a kilometer or so below the summit and even so, we had a breathtaking view of Lake Kilpisjarvi.
