Not Getting Paid For Your Time and Worth
Why I believe having a job online is easier than in person
I have only worked part-time jobs since I’m still young and earning an education.
I have noticed things that don’t always go well with others. Rules are applied to you and you have to follow each one.
Of course, there is no problem with that but when is it time to feel free? I don’t want to feel held down by a job, as if they own me.
I have seen individuals make a living off of being online such as influencers, medium writers, YouTubers, entrepreneurs, and the list goes on.
With those titles, those individuals expand their brand by creating multiple streams of income for themselves in the online space. Doing well for themselves without having a regular job like most people.
If you’re wondering why I decided to get a part-time job it’s because I don’t want to be stuck at home being non-productive. It’s also a way for me to earn money for the rest of the summer.
Even if it’s not worth my time, I have something until I decide on my long-term goals.
Working in person also comes with people you are forced to work with and whom you may not always get along with.
I believe it’s great to have to learn how to work with someone and give you the skills to move further. Although, if you want to be your own boss then these situations don’t necessarily apply.
Almost everyone has a smartphone these days. Working online allows someone to share their skills with multiple individuals. The online world seems much more extensive than in person.
Let’s also not forget that sometimes in the in-person workspace we have bosses that aren’t always cooperative with their workers and appreciate their work.
Having your job online allows you to share your work with others in a way you haven’t before. I haven’t reached that “level” yet but I know there are unlimited possibilities under the right circumstances.
A big thank you to ILLUMINATION for allowing me to have a platform for my writing!
