The Bible says that there was a time when God destroyed everything with the flood except for one family.

Let’s look at that one family.

In those days, the earth was fully corrupted. The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took wives for themselves from among them, choosing whomever they pleased. Here, the “sons of God” are believed to refer to fallen angels who intermarried with human women.

These intermarriages led to a corrupted people and a corrupted generation. God saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

Out of all the wicked people, God found Noah to be righteous. This tells us that Noah’s family was not corrupted, and they followed God’s path.

God told Noah to build an ark. This sentence clearly indicates that Noah followed the path of God, as God directly instructed Noah to build the ark, and Noah was able to hear and obey God’s voice.

God gave Noah the dimensions to build the ark. Before that, God decided on a timeline of 120 years to destroy the world with a flood. Noah didn’t know about the timeline or why God told him to build the ark. He built the ark without any questions and didn’t ask God why.

God said, and Noah followed.

We can imagine that no one knew about the 120-year timeline, and while Noah was building the ark, other people surely thought he was a madman. This was because Noah was not like the other people; he was following God’s commandments.

Perhaps Noah himself had doubts or questions about why God wanted him to build the ark. However, the Bible does not specifically mention Noah expressing such doubts; instead, it emphasizes Noah’s obedience and faith in carrying out God’s instructions.

But he followed God’s command.

During the 120-year timeline, until God instructed him to go into the ark, Noah preached the word of God to the people of the world, but no one listened.

That’s why God chose Noah. Even though no one listened to Noah’s words, he still preached the word of God. Despite people insulting Noah for obeying God’s command, he didn’t care about their words.

Follow God’s command, no matter what.

God will definitely honor those who honor Him.
