Let’s find out the Nerd Scientist’s Nerdy Experiments
Seamus lives alone in that spooky house. Mike and Klara were waiting outside for him, after hearing the sound of the bell, Seamus came down to open the door.
Seeing Klara there, Seamus looked overjoyed as he was eagerly waiting for her. Seamus welcomed them nicely, but Klara and Mike entered Seamus’s house cautiously.
The house looked more spooky from the inside than it was from the outside. Neither could accept it as a house. Rather, it seemed like a laboratory of its own kind.
The rooms were very dirty. What could anyone expect better interiors from a nerdy scientist after all? All the walls are having multiple shelves with different specimens and experiments. In the meantime, Klara observed a lot of unworldly objects on those shelves.
Mike and Seamus were smiling to see her as she was unable to understand anything which was being displayed in that house. Seamus told Mike to stop smiling. Actually, it’s pretty obvious for her.
Klara asked Seamus what was all the stuff and what was its use. Seamus replied these are the results of his experiments and scientific inventions.
Then Seamus started his introduction, saying his expertise is biochemical engineering, micro-biotechnology and also electric-mechanical technologies. His areas of interest were diversified in some other topics too, like mechanics and astronomy.
His experiments and inventions were unthinkable and unethical to normal mankind, and that’s why he chooses to stay outside of the main city. People think of him as crazy, and couldn’t take him and his creations normally, as these are way ahead of normal people’s imaginations.
Though Seamus didn’t have any regret about that, he was willing to serve mankind with his inventions whether they’d accept those or not. Seamus told them he knows that his behavior and appearance are also not normal, so he chooses to stay alone, feeling it would be better this way.
Mike was his only friend. Mike is a magician and only a magician can understand that science is not crazy stuff. There’s also a science behind magic. Thus their friendship was created on understanding. Klara heard everything that Seamus said and appreciated both of the lads.
Klara was eager to see his experiments and inventions, so Seamus happily described some of his creations to her. After the conversations, Mike pinched Seamus to tell her about the main cause.
Seamus then told Klara, he knew already about her and the recent ongoing problems in Belgram; and, he also added, Seamus is the one who told Mike about all the incidents that happened recently in Belgram.
Now it’s clear to Klara how Mike knew everything. After more talk, Seamus told Klara that he invented a ultra-powerful telescope to see far objects in space. It is situated in front of a top window on the highest floor of his house. Seamus built that to keep his eye on the sky for research on astronomical purposes. Sometimes he used the telescope to watch what was going on in Korkota city, Belgram and also in Agrasar.
Something Worst is Coming
Seamus used to watch the deep dark forests of northern Belgram regularly with his powerful telescope. A lot of mystery remained hidden, Seamus said.
Those are ancient, unworldly things, and saying that, Seamus suddenly paused. Then he murmured that something bad will happen in the near future.
He was aware of the fact that Robert was killed. Klara asked who killed her father. Seamus replied that’s not clear till now, but some horrible things happened in the core of those dark woods.
He told Mike and Klara that in recent days, Belgram witnessed many horrific incidents like Decoits attacking the village, and new leader Viscus and his team restricting them courageously. But lots of villagers had died in that particular incident.
Klara looked worried for her village. Though she was happy to hear that Viscus became their new leader. She told them if she were present there, she would also nominate him, “Viscus is truly a great fighter.”
Mike suddenly asked both of them what about the ravens. Hearing this, Klara looked astonished. She said how’d he know about the ravens? Mike smiled. Seamus then answered, not only she but also Seamus is seeing them his nightmares.
Those are not just bad dreams but deadly nightmares. Deadly thoughts of pain and agony. The ravens are targeting dead bodies, needing some thing inside their brain, too really horrible to think of.
Then Seamus told Klara, “ravens attacked the village and did the same as what they were dreaming of.” Seamus didn’t know the actual cause of raven attacks, nor the place where they were coming from. He tried to search ravens’ shelters with his big telescope but didn’t get any chance to see it.
Witch of the Dark Woods in Belgram:
Seamus thinks for a while then he said, “It had been heard that once upon a time, many many years ago a witch lived there in that dark woods of Belgram. She possessed great powers, dark magic, and extraterrestrial capabilities.”
“Her cannibalistic nature was her source of power. To stop the regular slaughter of villagers, a few men among the old tribes killed her and buried her in the dark forests.”
“Then it was heard, after killing her they couldn’t able to stop the calamities done by that dead witch. Her cursed soul was still affecting the whole Belgram and the few parts of Korkota too. Horrific events were increased after her murder.”
“For the permanent solution, old tribes bound her soul with some holy chants and white magic. She was restrained but for a limited time, that was not permanent. Tribes told everyone that she’d come someday to take her revenge on all. And if she returns someday, she will relinquish her power to vanquish all the Belgram and Korkota to make it a graveyard.”
After finishing what Seamus was saying about the widespread folklore, he said he’s a Scientist so he doesn’t believe all these stories totally. But the regular attacks from ravens made him think on that matter. Because ravens were the loving pets of that unholy wretched witch!
After hearing all these ancient horrific stories, Klara and Mike remained paused for a while. Then Mike asked, ““If these rumors are true then how to get a permanent solution! How to get rid of these matters totally! ”
Klara thought something at that moment and then replied, “There’s someone living in the village who can guide them properly on this matter. He’s the oldest of them all, he’s the one from the old tribes, maybe he knows all these things better than everyone.” So if they were take his help, they might get some important information from him.
Mike proposed to Klara for a revisit to Belgram to make a detailed conversation with the old person of the tribe. Klara was convinced by the proposal. They planned to visit Belgram soon. Mike said he will accompany Klara, coming with her to Belgram.
Seamus supported Mike and told them he’ll stay here and continue his experiments on these matters. Seamus will keep his eye on them by his telescope.
He also added he will give them some scientific materials that can help them in any dangerous situations. They can use them as weapons for protection.
In the meanwhile in Korkota city, the couple returned home and didn’t find Klara in it. After searching the whole house they confirmed that Klara left their house in the morning and wasn’t returning soon.
Having not heard any news in Korkota regarding Klara, they started to worry about her and planned to visit Belgram soon to see if she is safe or not.
