On that morning after reaching the office I discovered these two hibiscus having uncommon colors were waiting there on a table. Understood that they have been plucked by someone and will be used as offering to God. Needless to say that our office has a flower garden in its front side.

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.”

Flowers always inspire poets to capture their beauty, colors and fragrance. Poetries also explore the symbolic meanings associated with blossoming flowers which may be related with love, purity and resilience. Above all, they teach readers to pause and appreciate the artistry of nature. They also invite us to understand life, finding solace and inspiration.

“Love is the flower
you’ve got it to let grow.”
— -John Lennon

Flowers that symbolizes eternal love are lilies, tulip, daises, roses and sunflowers. Purple tulips are said to represent eternal love while pink tulips signify perfect love. red tulips are believed to be associated with the primrose that says, “I can’t live without you!”

“It’s spring again. I can
hear the birds sing again.
See the flowers start to bud.
See young people to fall in love.”

Light is the essential ingredient for plants to prepare their food by means of photosynthesis which finally enables them to grow and bloom. We can imagine that energy of light is used by flowers to release pollen grains for the pollination process. I don’t know whether flowers get a particular monochromatic look from the sunlight which is a combination of seven base colors!

“Deep in their roots,
all flowers keep the light.”
— — Theodore Roethke
