Introducing the Holacracy app
Did you ratify the Holacracy constitution and chose to stick with the Holacracy ruleset? Did you decide to amend the constitution for some specific circles such as the People or Partners circle? Or did you choose to follow the main principles of Holacracy and adapt it to your own context? Whatever your context, holaSpirit aims to be your perfect companion for your Self-organization journey.
Today we’re announcing a new app and features that will give you more flexibility in the way holaSpirit supports your practice.
For Holacracy practitioners, checklists + contents: the perfect combo to strengthen your practice
Are you familiar with Running Apps? When we first thought about developing an online coaching for Holacracy practitioners, it was clear that recurring checklists were not enough and good content will be an essential part of the program.
The good thing with Holacracy is that there are plenty of useful articles that provide valuable content you can easily use to help your colleagues in their day-to-day practice. We’ve started to identify these contents this summer. You’ll find in our new Holacracy app (in the administration section) the first steps of what could be a personalized support program based on different criteria in the future.
For those who don’t use Holacracy strictly
Paul Walker, working at Zappos, one of the most well known running-Holacracy company, says it best: one size doesn’t fit all. For any reason, if you don’t use Holacracy, there are some piece of elements that you don’t need in holaSpirit: the link to upload your ratification document, the Holacracy resources including direct links to the constitution, etc. are some examples. You can now use holaSpirit without these Holacracy marks by deactivating the Holacracy app. Check it out in our knowledge base.
For those who amend the Constitution in specific situations
It’s more and more common to find organizations that have an advanced practice of Holacracy, have developed their own “apps” or adopted constitutional amendment.
For example, when it comes to People or Partnership Circles, you may need to remove a Core Role or unfill an existing Core Role. holaSpirit now allows this change in a governance meeting.
