Staking your s(p)IOEN: detailed instructions for getting access to your immediate staking benefits!
If you received spIOEN this is the Polygon chain sIOEN token. Follow the same steps below to stake your tokens.
There’s a high demand for sIOEN tokens, so we wanted to make sure our community knows how to stake the sIOEN token properly. Here’s a step-by-step guide to avoid difficulties and make it nice and simple.
How to unlock 30% of your IOEN tokens:
Click the ‘Go to Unlock’ button on https://ido.ioen.tech/. See step 3 for details.

1. Purchase sIOEN tokens from our launchpads TrustPad or TrustSwap. These are stakeable (sIOEN) and you NEED to complete the next steps: the sooner you stake, the sooner you will earn and gain other staking benefits. You can stake your tokens and get 100% APY for three months from 12th October at 11pm UTC, until the 20th of October.
2. Go to: https://ido.ioen.tech/ to connect your wallet. Whilst doing this, select your blockchain.
If you have sIOEN select Ethereum, if you have spIOEN select Polygon
3. If you are using a Metamask wallet, click on the Fox icon, or connect the wallet of your choice (we will use Metamask as the example for the rest of this article).
4. To unlock your 30% of tokens (the maximum allowed to unlock immediately), click ‘Go to Unlock’
5. IMPORTANT! Make sure you have connected the correct Metamask wallet to the IOEN website. Be sure it is the wallet that contains your stakeable IOEN (sIOEN) tokens from the launch.
6. To stake your sIOEN, enter the full amount you want to stake and press the STAKE button
7. The transaction will begin processing on the blockchain and ask for confirmation from your Metamask wallet. (if it doesn’t pop up automatically, click your Metamask fox icon)
8. Approve staking!
09. Confirm the operation in the Metamask wallet window.
10. Wait for the token transaction to complete and confirm the operation.
11. One more trip to Metamask and then:
12. When complete, the website will present your newly staked tokens, and immediately begin showing their increase as your staking earns. Your sIOEN tokens will then be staked

- How do I unlock 30% of my IOEN tokens?
At step 8 in the guide, you can change the amount of tokens that you would like to stake. All remaining tokens will be unlocked (up to 30%).
