since
I’ve held you
in my arms

Rocking your body,
gently

as you remember
the warmth

it used to
call home

It has been
a long time

since
I kissed
those lips

Gasping
for breath

as our lips
and tongues wrestle,
furiously

It has been
ages

since
I’ve parted
those thighs

Our dresses
coming off
frantically

as you
beg me
for every inch

It has been
an eternity

since
we’ve reached
these heights

So,
please

let me keep
making love
to you

like we never
stopped
for a moment.
