A single bot that can do everything.

Hello! This is a post from the 2018 archives! For our latest executive summary, go here.

A single bot that can do everything. That’s the simple idea that everyone says is impossible without general artificial intelligence.
But with synthetic intelligence — humans doing the work and technology coordinating the humans — the future is already here.
For $10 per hour, you can automate your entire life and business, and save up to 41% of your time.
Do nothing that can be done for you.

Digital Labor Costs Are Approaching Zero

Invisible is Uber for digital labor. 70% of the world makes less than $10 a day and 50% is on the internet — labor has never been this cheap in all of history! And yet people are doing needless, boring and expensive digital work — Harvard Business Review estimates that 41% of work done by knowledge workers could be outsourced. What if repetitive digital work could be efficiently and securely outsourced? Employees, shareholders and global workers would rejoice!

Digital Assembly Lines Are The Future Of Work

Invisible makes it easy to delegate. Jump on an onboarding video call and show us work you hate doing. We’ll write down the instructions, build processes and do it for $10/hr — so you never have to do it again. We deliver work through a bot which you can text, email and phone call 24/7. Humans are doing the work, but technology is coordinating the humans on digital assembly lines.

Coordinate, Then Automate

Invisible’s technology strategy has been to coordinate digital labor first, then automate once highly structured processes are in place. To run our digital assembly lines, we build a routing technology, process builder, process guide, time tracker and messaging protocols. Now that these technologies coordinate 65 agents in 14 countries around the world, we are beginning to automate our highest volume processes.

Already Running 600 Processes For 100 Companies

Invisible saves 10+ hours per week for sales people, recruiters, marketers, operations and account managers, admins and executives. We’ve built processes for 100 companies: SMBs with up to 650 employees, across tech, energy, transportation and financial services. The most popular set of processes is the Data Set: which includes lead generation, prospect list building, online research, web scraping and data tagging.

Investing In Growth, Automation And Profits

Invisible’s growth to date has been organic. Of April’s $24,000 in revenue, 87.5% was upsell. We began testing sales channels in April. CAC is $250 per client. Clients sign up for $1000 in initial spend. Annual spend for our largest clients is already over $20,000 and on track for over $30,000. Lifetime value is uncapped. By the end of Q2, we’ll have found a deep, repeatable sales channel — and have a straight shot to $400,000 in revenue by December 2018. Invisible only pays agents for hours billed to clients, and average labor costs are under $5/hr, so initial gross margins are 50% at $10/hr. Gross margins increase to over 80% as automation kicks in. For every hour saved by automation, thirty minutes are given back to the client as savings, and thirty minutes are retained by Invisible as margin growth.

A Battle-Hardened Team

Invisible has 29 partners in SF, LA, NYC, LON — and other cities around the world. We have built impressive product, design, engineering, hiring, training, operations, support and finance teams, and are currently building our sales and marketing team.

Our partnership model is the most company-favorable approach to startup compensation in history. Partners salaries are tied to gross profits, and even then, salary caps are $8K are less. Salary caps won’t be maxed out until the company hits approximately $400,000 in monthly revenue. This means that new partner hires don’t increase burn, partner pay is totally variable, and partners currently make less than $1,000 a month. Yet miraculously, incredible people are leaving their jobs to join Invisible — as the company’s roster (see below) shows. Every partner has a meaningful equity stake in the business and once the company starts generating net profits, 50% of net profits will be paid to shareholders (including investors) as a dividend, which acts as a bonus to partners.

Join The Round

We’re raising $750K on a $5M SAFE. Targeting $50K burn and 18 months of runway. Previously raised $1.2M, mostly on a $5M SAFE.
