A Free Verse Poem response to Jenny Justice A poem prompt for Star Week, Day 4 of 7

As we lookup
Into the night sky
There we are
Billions of silver stars,
Shimmering,
A wonder we wish to be part of.

Can we see all of them?
Not really,
We see so few,
We know there
Is a clarity and beauty
Beyond our naked eyes,
Wishing to absorb
The very thing they are.
We are
Stardust.

Thank you for reading. J.
