IQ Protocol welcomes Fellaz into our ecosystem!

Fellaz is a multichain entertainment ecosystem, specializing in the production and distribution of original Web3 content and assets. They are currently collaborating with global record labels and entertainment companies, including a major K-pop music label and full-scale entertainment content production companies.

Their platform has multiple purposes. Fellaz is not just a metaverse content production studio and NFT platform, but it’s also a hub for fans of musicians, digital artists, and the like. Their aim is to provide an easy solution not just for fans and collectors, but also for the businesses and artists themselves, helping to effectively integrate their work into a decentralized, Web3 context.

Fellaz will launch their first original K-pop star NFT collection at the end of Q2 this year. Initially being offered as PFPs, these NFTs will eventually transform in their utility. Also actively in development are plans for blockchain-based NFT ticketing, POAP (proof of attendance) badges, and governance systems that can support the onboarding Web3 fandom communities.

We at IQ Protocol appreciate the way NFTs and other digital assets will transform the entertainment industries. For example, when it comes to music, NFTs will play a massive role in how we engage with musicians, their content, and their live shows. For example, say you have a ticket (in the form of an NFT) to a band featured on Fellaz. However, your plans changed… you can no longer attend. As sad as you may be, you can at least take relief in the fact that you can safely (without risk) rent out your NFT to another eager concert-goer. Now, at least you won’t have also lost out in a financial aspect as well! Nothing wrong with saving some hard-earned duckets!

This sounds great, but how is it risk-free!?

We at IQ Protocol know that digital assets are not only valuable, but are also important to their owners. That is why we have worked hard to come up with a secure platform for renting and borrowing of digital assets. Typical modes of lending an asset puts a lender at risk, say, if the borrower refuses to return or loses hold of the asset (for whatever reason). With IQ Protocol, such risks are not a concern. Instead of giving the original asset to the borrower, IQ Protocol mints an expirable version of the NFT (which contains all of the unique features of the original). This NFT is then given to the borrower. This guarantees that the original NFT is always safe and can be returned to the owner after the agreed-upon rental contract has expired. Now, players can rest easy renting out the items that they aren’t currently using, providing the guild with a frictionless way of pooling their assets.

Also exciting is that Fellaz will also be working with PARSIQ, the Web3 data-monitoring company that created IQ Protocol. PARSIQ will be providing Fellaz with all of their data needs, with PARSIQ’s upcoming flagship Tsunami API. To learn more about this, click here.
