IRISnet (a.k.a IRIS Hub) is designed to be the foundation for the next-generation distributed applications. Built with Cosmos-SDK, IRIS Hub enables cross-chain interoperability through a unified service model, while providing a variety of modules to support DeFi applications. TL;DR

IRISnet Dev Team ranked third in Phase 1a of GoZ;Rainbow-GoZ which supports interchain token transfer and coinswap was launched.

Technical Updates

Rainbow Wallet

Rainbow-GoZ was launched. The Beta version supports IBC Transfer, Coinswap, and Hierarchical Deterministic wallets (multi-chain). Testflight can be downloaded on iOS and online APK can be downloaded on Android.

IRISplorer

1、Designed IRISplorer-0.11.1, which included:

Carousel was added in the banner, which can show IRISplorer-GoZ and Rainbow IBC-GoZ.
The header search bar was put away by default.

2、Designed and developed IRISplorer-GoZ v0.1.2, which included:

The IBC-GoZ version was launched — the download portal was optimized, new navigation named IBC-GoZ Wallet and corresponding router were added.
Burying point for the new download portal was added.

3、Optimized IRISplorer-GoZ 0.1.1

The missing data problem caused by paging was solved.
The display ratio was optimized after the expansion of data.

Community Updates

IRIS Foundation finished the First implementation of the Community-centric Delegation Campaign & the Second One-year Token Burn Plan

Both plans involve the expansion and optimization of the utilization of Eco-Development Funding. The token burn and rewards release has been completed by the IRIS Foundation at the beginning of May 2020: All delegators received IRIS tokens as direct deposits in an amount equal to their delegation reward earnings in April; the application form of validators rewards was released; the token burn in April was completed to maintain a zero percent inflation rate monthly. Learn more.

At the same time, IRIS Foundation has undelegated 1.7 million IRIS to increase annualized staking yield for validators and delegators. If the voluntary staking keeps increasing, the IRIS Foundation will consider burning the undelegated amount in April and May.

IRISnet Dev Team is in Game of Zone

[IRISnet Dev Team ranked third in Phase 1a of GoZ]

Phase 1a ended at 00:01 (UTC) on May 10. At this stage, there are 103 Zone connected to the GoZ Hub, judged by keeping the connection as much as possible while sending as few packets as possible. The top three teams were responsiblechain, Sentinel and IRISnet.

[Rainbow-GoZ, the cross-chain wallet, was launched]

In anticipation of the GoZ Phase 1b launch, the Rainbow-GoZ Wallet is currently ready for users to try out and start experimenting with multi-chain support in wallets, crosschain transfers, and atomic token swaps via IRIS’ proprietary solution Coinswap.

To provide / invoke services using iService

In the near future, IRISnet will extend the IBC protocol to realize cross-chain service invocation and become a cross-chain service hub supporting a variety of complex distributed applications.

However, now using iService in IRISnet, you can provide your services as a provider (iService Provider). iService consumers can enjoy your service without having to crosschain. For more details:
