About
Jean’s in the Kitchen
A place for my stories about cooking and eating, it is part memoir, part cookbook, part advice column. Cooking is an adventure and is most fun when shared with family, friends, and even strangers. Eating good food lovingly prepared can go a long ways toward building communities.
Note from the editor

Jean’s in the Kitchen is designed to fill a need on Medium for stories about cooking and eating. We may or may not include recipes. It is our belief that slow food, cooked in the home kitchen is one of the elements essential to creating communities of family and friends. May we all be able to work out our differences around the table.
