Getting around the Jeep Wrangler 4xe Issues
I wrote about the Jeep Wrangler 4xe problems and issues, and why the Wrangler 4xe was my biggest and most expensive mistake — and let’s continue with my unsuccessful attempts to resolve my Jeep issues with Chrysler / FCA or now Stellantis — which is as of today — waiting to be fixed for 3 months.
I always wanted a Jeep Wrangler. Since I patiently waited 3 months for my custom Wrangler 4xe order to arrive (and placed the order without ever driving one because the 4xe was not released back than) shows my commitment to the 4xe Wrangler.
However, my huge excitement towards the 4xe Wrangler turned into a nightmare very soon (just after owning it for 42 days). The transmission failed and needed a replacement. That’s OK I’ve said — it’s first-generation powertrain, I know for what I’ve subscribed for.
After dropping off my 4xe at the dealership, I immediately raised (my 2nd) case with Jeep corporate to and soon I got a case manager assigned, with high hopes that either the dealership or he can get me a replacement transmission soon.
It was a mistake having high hopes. The dealership, the regional Chrysler rep working with the dealership had no luck accelerating the delivery of the transmission. Not to mention the Jeep Corporate case manager handling my case wasn’t a big help either. During the 2…
