You probably recognize the hilarious influencer David Lopez from Vine. Like many other Viners, he successfully migrated his content to Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. To date, he has amassed over 4 million followers across his networks. Out with the old platform, in with millions of fans on several platforms.
Recently, Lopez has been involved in a ton of branded campaigns, often sharing humorous videos of himself featuring these products. Below we listed our favorite branded posts by Lopez where he achieved the goals of the brand while maintaining his own authentic creativity.
1 & 2. Cheez-It
The first of two ads that Lopez created for America’s favorite cheesy snack highlights their “Grooves” product. Lopez depicts a roommate/friend relationship in this video where he is asked about a “chip on his shoulder” (See what he did there? Puns!). After Lopez lists all of the reasons why he has been angry lately, his friend points out that he was referring to an actual Cheez-It chip on his shoulder. You know, as friends do. The second of the two ads that Lopez did for Cheez-It features his use of “chip puns.” Who knew we’d refer to chip puns so many times? Nice work, David.
3. Peanuts Here
In the above tweet, Lopez posts a video on Twitter for “Peanuts Here” where he shares his “peanut gallery” consisting of only the most refined crafts made with — you guessed it — peanuts. Kudos for the scarf and peanut mug.
4. Oreo
Lopez created this post to promote the #OreoDunkSweepstakes and encouraged his followers to enter to win. Juan’s cookie-taking game is definitely unbeatable.
5. HP
Lopez has worked with HP on a number or projects. The video above, showcasing the HP Sprocket printer, is definitely a favorite. It’s obviously an awesome printer, that he may have been too excited to use.
