I’ll admit it. I used to be one of those girls who was only friends with guys. I went to an all-girls school and college, I was sick of being surrounded by girls all the time. So, with time, I made sure things were different. I made a lot of guy friends that I’m still close with today and I genuinely enjoy these friendships, but I soon realized something was missing.

It is normal to question your friendships and what they mean to you.

People usually believe that female friendship is complicated or maybe toxic and you can’t be best friends as you always will try to compete with each other. But last weekend has changed my perspective for good.

Since last few weeks, I’ve spent quality time with a couple of female friends and I realized that there are many things we as a woman can relate to and understand each other without saying much.

Though it’s just a few days but it gave me a lifetime of inspiration and motivation and I am feeling like a new person altogether. That’s why I love my girlfriends. Along the way, I…
