Kaby Arena: Leaderboard Rewards
In one month before Kaby Arena’s PvP mode come out, players can already start earning with the PvE Leaderboard. In this article, we will cover the rewards for the leaderboards, the valuation of Winter 2021 Treasure and the news about BUSD rewards for the PvE Leaderboards competition in the last week before PvP mode release.
Leaderboard Rewards
Thanks to the Beta result, we are able to finalize our Leaderboard Rewards. As disclosed in previous article about our reward mechanism and game economy, Top players will receive $KGT while casual players will receive Treasure Boxes which contain consumables necessary for keeping the Top players relevant. Our mechanism will create a closed economic loop and every players will get their fair share of $KGT.
Every players can take part in the competition for the Leaderboard. Similar to the Beta, the Leaderboard will score your performance based on how far and how deep you explore the maps of Kaby Arena.
The Leaderboard will be reset every week. The winner list will be announced and the rewards will be distributed one week after.
*Note 1: After PvP mode comes out, we will use PvP Leaderboard instead of PvE
*Note 2: The Leaderboard will be extended in the future when the player base increase.
*Note 3: For the valuation of Winter 2021 Treasure, please check the Appendix at the bottom of this article
The weekly Leaderboard rewards will be distributed to top 500 players with the following prizes:
- Rank 1: 150,000 $KGT
- Rank 2: 120,000 $KGT
- Rank 3: 90,000 $KGT
- Rank 4–10: 60,000 $KGT each
- Rank 11–20: 40,000 $KGT each
- Rank 21–50: 25,000 $KGT each
- Rank 51–100: 15,000 $KGT each
- Rank 101–150: 60 Treasure Boxes each(est. 10,800 $KGT each)
- Rank 151–200: 40 Treasure Boxes each(est. 7,200 $KGT each)
- Rank 201–350: 25 Treasure Boxes each(est. 4,500 $KGT each)
- Rank 351–500: 15 Treasure Boxes each(est. 2,700 $KGT each)
BUSD prizes before the PvP release
Kaby Arena PvP mode will be released on Dec, 20th. To celebrate the event, we decided to reward BUSD prizes in addition to the normal rewards to Leaderboards players in the last week of PvE Leaderboard. More detail about the BUSD prizes will be published at an appropriate time before the competition starts.
After this, we will switch completely to PvP Leaderboard. PvE mode will be for grinding level and for completing quests.
Appendix: Winter 2021 Treasure Box valuation
On the above list, we noted the estimated value of the Treasure Boxes rewards in $KGT. To elaborate further, below is the breakdown value of each items in the Winter 2021 Treasure Box:
Unlike the Beta, Winter 2021 Treasure Box can only be rewarded through the Leaderboard or by completing challenging quests.
Final words
