Six General Practices of Kanban
The discussion on the Six General Practices of Kanban is the last section for Day 1. Based on your experience and internet research, you would be aware that
(1). Display work in columns in Kanban Board.
(2). Set WIP (Work-in-Progress) Limits in each column but you “breach” them when needed.
(3). Ask the tool to calculate Lead time/Cycle Time, without knowing whether it’s the right tool.
(4). Look at CFD (Cumulative Flow Diagram) but don’t know where to improve and how to improve.
All these are signs of false self-assessment that “you know Kanban.” when you don’t.
