Social Media in business is much different than it used to be. It’s no longer the wild west. You can’t post a fun picture on Facebook and expect all your followers to see it. The rules have changed, and I can help to adapt your business to those changes too.

Here are some of the new social rules:

You’ve got to pay to play.

  • There’s only a 2.6% organic reach for business Facebook posts. And Facebook says this number will eventually be zero. Want your followers and potential leads to see what you’re posting? You’ve got to boost posts and generate ads. (For more on that, check out what we can do with digital ads.)

Think Mobile

  • 79% of Facebook Ad Revenue comes from Mobile Ads.

Think Visual

  • Posts or tweets with images and video get more than double the engagement of those without.

Less can be more.

  • Brands that only post 1–2x per day on Facebook get 73% more comments and 32% more likes per post.

Days and Timing matter.

  • For Facebook, there’s 18% higher engagement on Thursdays and Fridays, 32% higher on weekends. 1:00 pm gets the most shares, 3:00 pm gets the most likes.

It may seem overwhelming, but your business can benefit from optimizing their social media presence.
