After 8 months of creative work to make Klaviyo BOS 2019 a reality, we took a moment at the end of day 1 to reflect on the process.

Klaviyo designers Tim Dwyer, Robert Yu, and Sam Beachell are joined by guests Will Murray (Marketing Engineer, Klaviyo) and Doug Randall (Event and experience agency Cramer) to talk about everything that goes into the conference online and off. We discuss going bigger for year 2, effective collaboration between the internal team and the team at Cramer, scaling the brand experience, what went well during the show, and of course what we want to do even bigger next year.

In this episode:

💚 The challenge of designing an event that’s genuine and personal — for 700+ members of the Klaviyo community.

👋 Collaborating across internal and external teams.

🙈 Lessons learned from year 2 (Check out what we learned from year 1 here!)
