With our recent support of the MetaMask Wallet, we are very pleased to improve the liquidity environment within Klaytn and provide revenue-generating opportunities for users who are familiar with the traditional MetaMask experience.

KLAYswap plans to improve its liquidity providing environment and increase usability, and will continue to pursue the expansion of the decentralized financial ecosystem as the representative AMM of the Klaytn network.

Today is an extension to the previous Metamask support announcement and setup post, and will explain how KLAY, the native asset of the Klaytn network, can be transferred to MetaMask and how to more easily use the MetaMask wallet in Klaytn and the KLAYswap ecosystem.

Summary [Using MetaMask for KLAYswap]

1. Set up the Klaytn Network RPC

2. Add KIP-7 Tokens

3. Get KLAY and send it to your MetaMask

a. KLAY is the native token of the Klaytn network and is used for transaction fees within the network.

b. You swap KLAY to other assets including KSP/ ETH/ BNB/ XRP/ WBTC/ USDT/ etc., or deposit it in a pair.

1. Setting up the Klaytn Network RPC

After going to the KLAYswap website, click connect wallet, select MetaMask, and it will automatically add the Klaytn network to your wallet.

If it does not automatically add the Klaytn network to your wallet, you can use the guide below to set up a Custom RPC in your MetaMask wallet.

Medium : KLAYswap now supports MetaMask!

2. Add KIP-7 Tokens to MetaMask

You can swap the KLAY tokens in your MetaMask wallet into other assets and deposit them by connecting your MetaMask wallet to KLAYswap, and if you swap KLAY into other assets, you can see the assets in your wallet after adding those tokens.

For tokens that are listed on KLAYswap, you can automatically add the token to MetaMask on the Asset page.

If automatic adding does not work, please manually add tokens directly to MetaMask using the method below.

● How to add Tokens to MetaMask

  1. Select the Klaytn Network on MetaMask
  2. Select “Add Token”
  3. Input the relevant Token Contract Address to add the token

  2. Go onto Klaytnscope can select Tokens on the left menu
  3. Search for and select the token you want to add to MetaMask
  4. Copy the Token Contract Address and use it when adding tokens to MetaMask

3. Getting KLAY and sending to to MetaMask

If you generate a transaction on KLAYswap, you must have KLAY in your Metamask wallet because KLAY, the native token of the Klaytn network, is used for the transaction fee. The image below shows how to transfer KLAY from Binance to Metamask.
