The Space mission is On! KlaytnCommunity presents its official Mascot.
If you’re a part of the Klaytneers following our Twitter account or the announcement channel, you might have already caught news of a special Space Mission being prepared here at Klaytn Community HQ.
To be honest, when starting this community we had no idea we’d experience this amount of growth and community enthusiasm. Our initiatives have been growing our cumulative numbers past 18,000 Telegram channel members and 11,500 Twitter followers. Just days ago, we founded a dedicated Indonesian & Philippines Subcommunity after receiving many requests from local Klaytn fans. Both Subcommunities are vibrant and educating new Klaytn fans on a daily basis.
KlaytnCommunity Ambassadors rule!
Along with the community growth, our respected and proud team of Ambassadors has expanded as well. We are proud to announce that Dian, Adele, and Tammazain have stepped forward to grow the Indonesian subcommunity, Deku will assist the global community, and Jenny and Eunice will grow the Philippines subcommunity. We’d like to thank our Ambassadors for their dedication and efforts to help us on our mission of growing and supporting the global Klaytn community. 👏💯
A symbol to rally under and bring the community together…
Seeing KlaytnCommunity grow at lightning speed, we began contemplating how to bring the community closer together. It wasn’t long before we realized that our community(ties) needs some kind of a symbol to rally under.
Our designers were instructed to come up with something cool, something special, and something that fits with the original idea behind Ground X’ and Klaytn’s name and logo. As you know Ground X stands for a playground where developers can experience new ideas. Klaytn is derived from the word clay (which is an essential soil material) that can be used to craft stuff.
Thinking about earthy environments and crafty animals, we found somebody we feel can take on that role perfectly. A hedgehog! A hedgehog is a smart, cute and hard-working little animal that guards its territory well and likes to play with clay, hence we feel he will be an excellent mascot and he aligns with our mission statement perfectly. We’re sure our community will come to recognize him as such.

So without further ado, he’s ‘Happy’ — the hedgehog, and our creative department gave him a special space helmet to take the role of the KlaytnCommunity Mascot.
We’ve also prepared a special animated Sticker Pack for Telegram featuring Happy, that you can add and use to spread the word about KlaytnCommunity. In the near future, 4 additional stickers will be added, bringing the total at 8. We couldn’t wait and resist sharing these with you 😊.
You might have noticed that Happy has been equipped with a special space helmet and that’s no coincidence — keeping in line with the fine crypto meme traditions, he’s now ready to go to the moon and so are we! Getting there will be a joint effort so we’d like you to add our new sticker pack and help us getting people introduced to and excited about the Klaytn Ecosystem, making our Space Mission a reality!
