The 2022 Arizona Fall League season got underway on Monday, October 3 with three members of the 2022 Charlotte Knights playing for the Glendale Desert Dogs — RHP Declan Cronin, RHP Lane Ramsey & LHP Sammy Peralta.

LANE RAMSEY — RHP

RHP Lane Ramsey finished the 2021 season with the Charlotte Knights — appearing in 21 games for the team before being placed on the injured list on September 24, 2021. He missed the remainder of the 2021 season (due to tendinitis in his right biceps) and started the 2022 season on Charlotte’s injured list.

Ramsey, 26, was activated off Charlotte’s IL on August 2 and made his 2022 season debut later that day at Truist Field against the Gwinnett Stripers.

Overall, the Oklahoma City, OK native appeared in 19 games with the Knights in 2022 and went 1–1 with four saves and a 5.66 ERA (20.2 IP/21 SO).

AFL UPDATE
Ramsey tossed a scoreless inning for the Desert Dogs in the first game of the season (October 3), notching a hold.
