How to add verified address to ngageN Wallet
To add a verified address to ngageN wallet you can go to My Wallet & click on Add Address
There are two methods to add verified addresses to the ngageN wallet.
1. Using Metamask browser extension
2. Manual way of signing the message using My Ether Wallet
Using Metamask browser extension
You need to already have metamask installed on your browser. If you are new to metamask, please refer to this article to install metamask.
If you have multiple accounts on your metamask, please switch to the account which you want to add to ngageN.
Step1: To add an address from your metamask wallet you will select METAMASK WALLET option, also give a name for easy reference. Then click on ADD
Step2: Now it will open a metamask popup where you need to sign a message. This is a gas-less action, so no Ether or Matic will be charged. Click on the sign to proceed.
That’s it, you have added your personal wallet address as verified addresses on ngageN. Now you can safely transfer your NFTs from your ngageN wallet to any verified address of yours.
Using My Ether Wallet
If you want to use wallet connect, wallet link, hardware wallets, My Ether Wallet, or other browser extension wallets, you can go to myetherwallet.com and click on the “Access My Wallet” button.
Step1: You will be asked to select the wallet type of your preference. You can access your wallet by any other method offered by MyEtherWallet.
Step2: Copy the address from the MyEtherWallet website and paste it on ngageN. Then click on the “Add” button.
Step3: You will be prompted with a message to be signed.
Click on the “Copy Text” button.
Step4: Once accessed, go to the “Sign Message” under the “Message” section on the left sidebar.
Step5: Paste the message in the “sign message” section of MyEtherWallet and click on the “Sign” button.
Step6: Click on the “Copy” button, which will copy the Message Signed
Step7: Go to ngageN and click on the “Verify” button
Step8: Paste the copied Signed Message in the section provided to you. Now click on the “Verify” button and voila!
Your address is now verified on ngageN and you will be able to safely transfer your NFTs to this address.
